Welcome to SASO San Antonio Boys!  

New, Prospective members (who have never been part of this SASO chapter) should use the "NEW MEMBERS" button on the on the blue banner above (or under the top right "hamburger" icon if on a mobile device) to register and pay dues.  Detailed instructions for  are below if needed!

Current SASO members should log in as usual to mom's exising ChapterWeb portal to renew membership for the new year with the "Enrollment" button (younger siblings new to SASO may also be registered at the same time).   2023-2024 members who did not meet membership requirements are welcome to join us next year for the 2025-2026 year.

Detailed Instructions for New, Prospective Members:

 

  • Click on the "NEW MEMBERS" button on the blue banner above (or under the top right "hamburger" icon if on a mobile device) 

  • Fill out prospective member information for both mom and son (please use a NON-school email address for son)

  • Please SAVE the password you select; you will need to remember it to complete registration; *it will be both mom & son(s)’ passwords*.  Something easy is recommended, such as SASO2024. 

  • Click the green “Submit Application” button. . . BUT, please don't stop here -- you are not officially registered yet! :-)

  • You will receive an email momentarily from “SASOBoysofSanAntonio” with the subject  “New Member Form Submitted for SASO Boys of San Antonio” (please check spam/junk mail if not received). 

  • The email will contain a link to log in to ChapterWeb and complete your enrollment; please do this ASAP.  It is recommended you save or screenshot this email as it contains both mom’s + son’s ChapterWeb usernames that you will need in the future (likely formatted firstname.lastname). 

  • Enter the password you selected in step 3 above.

  • Click on the hamburger icon in the top right, then click the left facing carrot next to Enrollment < (see photo below) to find the “Member Verification” button.  NOTE: you will not see this < if you are logged into son’s ChapterWeb portal. 

  • Review the information that you submitted in #1, sign the e-signature at the bottom and click submit for the next step

  • There are 3 sections to complete: 1) Member Verification, 2)Waiver and Policies and Procedures, and 3) Member Dues.  

  • Your registration is not complete until you finish all 3 steps and complete payment on the PayPal link (using your PayPal account or credit/debit card via PayPal Guest).  Please do not exit before you get confirmation that your PayPal payment is processed. 

  • Finally, mark your calendars for Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 3:30PM for the annual membership kick off meeting for moms AND sons at University United Methodist Church (John Wesley Room); it is the only  required attendance event for *ALL* members, new and returning.  Brand new members will sit for a brief presentation at 3:30PM and all members will pick up apparel and take a grade level photo.

Scholars & Athletes Serving Others (SASO) is a Mother/Son organizing for boys who live in the Clark, O'Connor, Brandeis or Harlan attendance zones (public, private or homeschooled) and their mothers.  SASO San Antonio is open to all incoming 9th-12th grade high school boys (Classes of 2025-2028) in the above school boundary areas. 

You do not need to be an athlete to join; we have members involved in all variety of activities.  

Registration for the upcoming SASO year will take place April 1-15, 2024 (or until chapter capacity is reached).  Please do not delay in submitting your application and annual membership dues ($100 via PayPal or with credit card thru PayPal Guest) to secure your spot for next SASO Chapter year.
